Free to be free
That's what Jesus said to me
Galations says, "It is for FREEDOM That Christ has set us FREE."
So when the enemies are godless
And Satan seems close to victory,
The Bible says, "It is for FREEDOM
That Christ has set us FREE."
When it seems truth is hiding
From all those who refuse to see
God's Word says, "It is for FREEDOM
That Christ has set us FREE."
It's like he wrote it on our hearts
For all the world to see.
Apostle Paul said, "It is for FREEDOM
That Christ has set us FREE."
Soldiers and their flags
Sacrifices made for the Land of the free-
And yet God said, "It is for FREEDOM
That CHRIST has set us FREE."
America, you were just a glimpse
A brief moment in history.
Yet forever true, "It is for FREEDOM
That Christ has set us FREE."
Patriots with their honor
Died for you and me
Yet now you know, "It is for FREEDOM
That Christ has set us FREE."
Be thankful for your Homeland.
But even the devil will fade from memory...
God will show us all, "It is for FREEDOM
That Christ has set us FREE!"
If it is for FREEDOM
That Christ has set us FREE,
Then perhaps you, too, agree
That we're all free to be FREE.
Oh 'but there's a catch'
If you read the Bible - you'll see...
It is ONLY THROUGH CHRIST
That we're free to be FREE.
